The Financial Education Institute (FEI) is ant organization whose founding mission is to provide free educational resources to the public. Founded as a result of an urgent need to enhance personal financial literacy, FEI has helped hundreds of individuals become more fiscally fit by understanding financial hurdles that they encounter in their everyday lives. Managing a speaking team of local industry experts, FEI gains a commitment from these professionals to contribute their time and expertise to conduct financial workshops in companies (lunch and learn), churches, municipalities, and non-profit organizations at no cost. FEI workshops are designed to be informative, entertaining and educational.
Host organizations may benefit from these workshops by creating goodwill and strengthening morale amongst their employees and/or members. The attendees benefit from the knowledge they gain, while the financial experts benefit by having the opportunity to give something back to the local community in which they serve. Although the workshop presenters are industry professionals, FEI workshops are presented in a generic 3rd party format, and are not sales events. The purpose of the workshop is to provide valuable financial information to the participants that attend, and no specific products or companies are endorsed.
Over the past few years, FEI has provided workshops to a wide variety of organizations in the Greater New England area. FEI has also been responsible for providing personal financial education to hundreds of attendees and referrals to a broad spectrum of financially oriented entities.
I wanted to take a minute to thank you for bringing ....FEI... group to speak at CWE on October 25, 2011. Both programs I attended that day were very informative and the three speakers were clear spoken, humorous at times, and approachable. In addition to offering us the opportunity to ask questions that day, each provided contact data and encouraged us to follow up with them.
